How to send us a copyright notice, what we can act on, and what happens next.
How do I send a DMCA notice to Relay IPTV? Email dmca@relayiptv.com with the six elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3): your signature, identification of the work, identification of the material, your contact details, a good-faith statement, and a statement of accuracy made under penalty of perjury. We acknowledge complete notices within two business days.
Our role, stated plainly
Relay IPTV resells access to third-party streaming servers. We do not host, store, encode, transmit or broadcast any video from infrastructure we operate, and we do not own or control the content libraries that customers reach through those servers. What we supply is an account: a username, a password and a server address.
That distinction matters for a copyright notice, because it determines what we can actually do. We can disable an account. We can escalate to the upstream provider. We cannot delete a file from a server that is not ours, and we would rather tell you that at the start than imply a power we do not have.
We take copyright seriously as a matter of policy and of self-interest. If you believe material reachable through our service infringes rights you hold, the procedure below is the fastest route to a response from a person.
What a valid notice must contain
Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, a notice must include all six of the following. A notice missing any of them cannot be verified, and we will return it to you rather than act on it.
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed. If several works are covered by one notice, a representative list of them.
- Identification of the material you say is infringing, described precisely enough for us to locate it — a channel name, a stream identifier, a URL or a page reference.
- Your contact details: full name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and — under penalty of perjury — that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.

Email is the only channel we monitor for copyright notices. Messages sent through WhatsApp or social accounts will not be treated as formal notices, because we cannot verify or archive them properly.
What happens after we receive a notice
- We acknowledge it and confirm whether it contains the six required elements.
- We review it. If the notice identifies material reachable through an account we control, we act on that account.
- We escalate upstream where the material originates with a provider we buy from, and we pass the notice on.
- We notify the account holder whose access is affected, and we tell them how to counter-notify if they believe we acted in error.
- We record it. Notices are logged so that the repeat infringer policy below can be applied consistently rather than by memory.
Counter-notification
If your access was disabled and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to the same address. It must include your signature, identification of the material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, your name, address and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.
We pass valid counter-notifications to the party that sent the original notice.
Repeat infringers
Accounts that are the subject of repeated valid copyright notices are terminated. This applies to retail customers and to reseller accounts equally, and no exception is made for account size or length of relationship.
False notices
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), a person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees, incurred by the alleged infringer or by the service provider. We take that provision as seriously as we take the notices themselves.

DMCA — questions
Does Relay IPTV host any content?
No. We do not store, encode, transmit or broadcast video from our own infrastructure. We resell access to third-party streaming servers and supply the credentials that let a customer connect to them with a player of their choice.
Where do I send a DMCA notice?
Email dmca@relayiptv.com with the six elements listed on this page. Notices sent to other addresses will still be read, but the dedicated address is faster.
How quickly do you respond?
We aim to acknowledge a complete notice within two business days and to act on valid notices promptly. A notice missing required elements will be returned to you rather than acted on, because an incomplete notice is not one we can verify.
What can you actually do about a stream?
What is within our control is access: we can disable the account of a customer, and we can raise the matter with the upstream provider that supplies the stream. We cannot remove content from servers we do not operate, and we will say so plainly rather than imply otherwise.
What if I think my access was disabled by mistake?
You can send a counter-notification. The requirements are set out on this page. We will pass a valid counter-notification to the complaining party.
What happens to repeat infringers?
Accounts subject to repeated valid notices are terminated. This is not discretionary and we do not make exceptions for larger accounts or resellers.
Is a DMCA notice the same as a legal action?
No. A DMCA notice is a request under a specific United States statute. It is not a court order and it is not a lawsuit, though it can be a step before either.
Can I send a notice about something I do not own?
Only if you are authorised to act for the rights holder. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing carries liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), including costs and legal fees.
