An IPTV subscription for TiVimate
TiVimate is the best IPTV player on Fire TV and Android TV, and it is only as good as the programme guide behind it. Ours is delivered in US time zones.
What do you need to use TiVimate? TiVimate is a player, not a service — it needs a subscription behind it. It accepts either an Xtream Codes login (username, password and server URL) or an M3U playlist URL, and Relay IPTV provides both. Because TiVimate leans heavily on the programme guide for its recording, reminder and channel-group features, the EPG matters more here than in almost any other player: ours is delivered in Eastern, Central, Mountain and Pacific time rather than a European default.
Setting it up
- Open TiVimate and choose Add playlist.
- Select "Xtream Codes." The M3U option works but arrives without a usable guide.
- Enter the server URL, username and password we send you. Include the port if one is given.
- Wait for the channel list, then let the EPG finish downloading — it can take a couple of minutes on first run.
- Set your channel groups. TiVimate lets you hide and reorder categories; doing this once makes a large list genuinely usable.
Why the EPG matters more in TiVimate
In most players the programme guide is decoration — you use it to see what is on. In TiVimate it is load-bearing. Recording schedules, reminders, the channel-surfing overlay and the group logic all read from the EPG. Feed TiVimate a guide built for Central European Time and every one of those features is quietly wrong: recordings start six hours late, reminders fire at the wrong moment, and the "now playing" strip never matches the screen.
People usually blame the app. The app is fine. The source is wrong, and no setting inside TiVimate can properly fix a bad EPG — shifting the offset patches the display while leaving recordings broken.
Settings worth changing
| Setting | Why |
|---|---|
| Decoder: hardware (or hardware+) | Noticeably smoother on Fire TV Stick and older Android boxes. |
| Buffer size: raise it slightly | Helps on Wi-Fi. Raise it too far and channel switching feels sluggish, so adjust in small steps. |
| EPG time shift: leave at zero | If the guide is wrong, get it fixed at the source rather than masking it here. |
| Hide unused groups | The single biggest usability win on a large channel list. |
Which devices run TiVimate
Yes: Amazon Fire TV Stick and Fire TV Cube, Android TV, Google TV, NVIDIA Shield, most Android TV boxes.
No: Roku, iPhone and iPad, Samsung Tizen and LG webOS smart TVs. On those, use a different player — our credentials work in all of them. See IPTV for Roku.

Is TiVimate a subscription service?
No. TiVimate is a player app. It has no channels of its own and needs credentials from an IPTV provider before it will show anything. TiVimate Premium is a separate paid upgrade to the app, unrelated to your IPTV subscription.
What is the difference between TiVimate Premium and an IPTV subscription?
TiVimate Premium is a one-off or yearly payment to the app developer that unlocks features like multiple playlists and recording. An IPTV subscription is what you pay a provider for the actual channels. You need a provider either way.
Does TiVimate work on Firestick?
Yes — Fire TV is TiVimate's most common home. It also runs on Android TV, Google TV and NVIDIA Shield. It does not run on Roku, iOS or Samsung and LG smart TVs.
Why does my TiVimate guide show the wrong times?
Because the provider is sending an EPG built for another region. TiVimate displays what the server gives it. Our guide is delivered in US time zones, which is the actual fix — shifting the offset in the app hides the symptom and breaks recordings.
Can I record with TiVimate?
Yes, with TiVimate Premium and a device that has storage. Recording relies entirely on the programme guide, which is why an accurate EPG matters more in TiVimate than in most players.
Xtream Codes or M3U for TiVimate?
Xtream Codes. TiVimate accepts both, but Xtream carries the guide, the VOD library and your account expiry. See the comparison.
Can I add two providers to TiVimate?
Yes, with Premium you can add multiple playlists and switch between them. That is the cleanest way to run a trial next to your current provider and compare them on the same screen.
TiVimate says the playlist failed to load — why?
Usually a typo in the server URL, a missing port number, an expired subscription, or a single-connection plan already in use on another device. Message us and we will check the account from our side.
